Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications and APIs. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs.
2. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
3. Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures.
4. Integrate third-party services and APIs.
5. Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
8. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Create and maintain technical documentation.
10. Implement automated testing and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Strong proficiency in one or more backend technologies such as:

4. Java (Spring Boot)
5. Python (Django)
6. .NET Core
7. PHP (Laravel)
8. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
9. Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
10. Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
11. Experience with Git version control.
12. Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
13. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
14. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
2. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
3. Familiarity with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
4. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
5. Understanding of system design and scalable architecture.
